Newell Wheeler, deceased

Clinton County,ss:  Be it remembered that on this 26th day of September 1872,
Lucinda E. Wheeler, widow of Newell Wheeler late of Chazy in the County of
Clinton deceased, filed in this office her Petition duly verifxxx xxxx xing
the last will and testament of the said Newell Wheeler deceased for probate in
which will she is xxxxxxxx as executrix and John R. Wheeler the father and
only heir of the said Newell Wheeler deceased, appeared in the Surrogate's
Court before the Surrogate and consulted to the probate of said will and filed
in this office his written consent to the immediate proof of said will and
thereupon the motion to take the examination of the surviving attesting
witnesses to said will and other witnesses and such proceedings were here
afterward that the said Surrogate took the proof of said will in this 26th day
of September 1872 and he adjudged the said will to be a valid will of both
real and personal estate and the proof thereof sufficient, which said last
will and testament and the proof are as follows; that is to say;

In the name of God, Amen I Newell Wheeler of the Town of Chazy County of
Clinton and State of New York, being of sound mind and memory do make publish
and declare this my last will and testament in manner following - I give and
bequeath to my wife Lucinda E. Wheeler all my real estate of every name and
nature and all my personal estate cash, goods and chattels of every name or
nature whatever.  I do hereby nominate and appoint my wife Lucinda E. Wheeler
to be sole Executrix of this my last Will and Testament.  In witness whereof I
have hereunto set my hand and seal this thirtieth day of October in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.

The above instrument consisting of sheet was at the date thereof sealed
published and declared by the said Newell Wheeler as and for his last Will and
Testament in presence of us who at his request and in his presence and in the
presence of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
