    The death of Robert LEWERS of Reno takes from Nevada one of her best and 

truest men.  Quiet and unassuming in manner, pleasant and congenial in 

disposition, his wise counsel was often sought and his great strength of 

character impressed largely upon those with whom he come in contact.  His 

long connection with the state university placed him in a position where his 

influence upon the young people was of marked benefit in moulding characters 

of those upon whom the responsibility of the state must soon rest.
