A small town located in the western part of Douglas County on Lake
Tahoe, 15 miles from Genoa, the county seat, and 14 miles southwest 
of Carson City, the banking point and shipping station. Has telephone 
connection and tri-weekly stage to Carson City Fare $2.50.
