H. JOBE VICTIM OF ACCIDENT IN THE QUARTETTE MINE AT SEARCHLIGHT Wednesday afternoon J. H. JOBE, a leaser in the Quartette Mine at Searchlight, was killed by the overturning of a skip in which he was riding down the incline shaft. The deceased was operating a lease in company with John FUNK and Harley HOLMES. He leaves a wife, a son and a daughter. The son will be remembered by many Vegas people, having been married last summer in this city to Miss Pearl WILLIAMS of Searchlight, both young people at that time being residents of this town. The dead man is quite well known here and was well thought of by all who knew him, being a very industrious and sober man, and his untimely death is a shock to the entire community. Much sympathy is felt for the bereaved relatives.
