	Benton Earl "Whitey" Jermyn, 61, died Tuesday in a local hospital.  He was a 32-year resident of North Las Vegas.
	A U.S. Navy veteran, he was born Oct. 28, 1925, in Biloxi, Miss., and was a hotel boxman.
	He is survived by [omitted]
	Visitation was scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, where prayer services were scheduled
 for 6 pm.  Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Woodlawn Cemetery.
