  Fallon- Earl A. Petrie, 57, died Wednesday at his residence.

  He was born Aug. 26, 1923, in Ontario, Calif., moving to Fallon 4 years ago.

  An Army veteran of World War II, he was a member of the American Legion Post 

471 of Oakland, Calif.

  He was a carpenter

  He is survived by a sister, Vera Mae Heier of Oakland.

  Visitation is scheduled from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at Austin, Matson and 

Smith Funeral Home.

  A graveside funeral is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at the Fallon Cemetery.
