Brennan NEWBURYPORT, Mass. - Edward J. Brennan, 89, of 19 North Atkinson St., died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2001, at Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport. He was the husband of Eleanor M. (MacKinnon) Brennan, with whom he celebrated 62 years of marriage. Born in Newburyport on Dec. 18, 1911, he was the son of the late Patrick J. and Hannah L. (Casey) Brennan. He was employed by the former First National Stores on State Street in Newburyport, where he was a manager of the produce department. He was also employed by the former Cushman's Bakery as a route salesman for 25 years. He retired from the Newburyport Superior Court, where he was a custodian. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Edward J. Jr. and Carol Brennan of Newburyport; two daughters and sons-in-law, June E. and James McGregor of Newburyport, and Kathleen and Robert Dockham of Stratham, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Eileen Brennan Pramberg, Timothy Brennan, AnnMarie Brennan Leary, Michael Brennan, Kim McGregor and Lisa McGregor, all of Newburyport, and Keith Dockham and Shawn Dockham, both of Stratham, N.H.; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Daniel Brennan, John Brennan, M.
