Warren County, NC - Will of Rachel Harris, 1823

State of North Carolina and county of Warran

I Rachel Harrass of the county and state of For Said nowing that all 
persons have to die Do make this my Last will and testament with the 
help of god
Item 1th I give to my Daughter Salley Mealer one large Iron pot and one 
large puter Bason
Item 2 I give to my Daughter Elizabeth Bobbitt one Falling Table and my 
side saddle
Item 3th I give to my Daughter Patience Bobbitt one painted chest and 
one pare of fire tongs and our grideon
Item 4th I give to my Daughter Nancy Eagerton one walnut chest and one 
looking glass
Item 5th I give to my Daughter Cherity Cockley one spice mortar
Item 6 I give to my daughter Prisila Cimbrel one Pine chest and one 
small trunk and the Right of which to be in her, her life and to 
dispose of as she think proper
Item 7 I give to my sun Simon Harrass one small jug
Item 8 I give to my sun Wilmont E. Harrass one feather bed and 
furniture
Item 9 I give to my sun Bedford Harrass ten shillings to hime and his 
heires for ever
Item 10th I wish all the Balance of my Property sold by my Executors and 
all the money culected by them and be equally devided between all my 
children Except my sun Bedford Harras and his hears whal I have left 
ten shillings in full of there part of my estate for ever
Item 11th it is my will and Desire that the money going to my Daughter 
Prisila Cimbrell be hers so that she may Dispose of it as she may think 
proper and I wish my sun and law John Bobbitt and John Mealer to 
administer of my estates and settle the same
Item 12th I wish all my cloths to be equally devided between my six 
Daughters this 8 Day of September 1818
I acknowledge this to be my Last will and testiment in Presents of 

Beny Hill
