In the name of God Amen

   I Isham McLamb of Herring Township in the County of Sampson and the State
of North Carolina being of sound mind and memory and considering the
uncertainty of this frail and transitory life do therefore make ordain
publish and declare this to be my last will and testament

First  I order and direct my exertrix hereinafter named pay all my just
debts funeral expences as soon after my decease as conveniently may be

Second  After the payment of such funeral expenses and debts I give devise
and bequeath to all my living children one dollar each. All the rest of my
property real and personal of what ever name or description I give to my
beloved wife Adella J McLamb during her natural life as widow hood and it is
further my desire and will that my two single daughters Ader J McLamb and
Lola C McLamb have the right to use my dwelling hous for a home so long as
they remain singe

Lastly  I make constitute and appoint my wife Adella J McLamb to be my
executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills
by me made in witness whereof I have hereuto subcribed my name and affixed
my seal the nineteenth day of September in the year of our lord nineteen
hundred and eight

This instrument was on the day of the date thereof signed published and
declared by the said Testator Isham McLamb to be his last will and testament
in the presance of us who at his request have subcribed our names thereto as
witnesses in his presence and in the presence of each other.
