Sampson County, NC - William L. King Obituary

Clinton - William Lister King, 74, of Route 1, Newton Grove, died at
his home Tuesday morning. He was the son of the late James William
and Susan Steth King of Sampson County. He was a member of Keener 
Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held from Newton Grove
Methodist Church Wednesday at 3 p.m. with the Rev. J.A. Cooper, the 
pastor, in charge, assisted by the Rev. H.F. Pollock of the Keener
Methodist Church. Interment will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery at 
Newton Grove.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Rose King; one daughter, Mrs.
Mack Blackman of Rt. 1, Newton Grove; three sons, J.M. and K.A.
King of Greensboro and Boyd King of Newton Grove; one sister, Mrs.
Eliza Jane King Murray of Lynchburg, Va; and thirteen grandchildren.
