Obituary of Grady (Tonse) Bennett
Passed away from this life on August 25, 1972
He was a lifetime farmer.
Born on December 10, 1919, in Newton Grove, to Charlie Grady Bennett and 
Gertrude Jordan of Sampson County, NC. 
He married Mildred Sylvia Wise, who was born on August 11, 1923. 
They were married in Newton Grove in 1940.
Grady and his wife resided in Grantham on Dobbersville Road for 35 years
Surviving are his children:
Carol Faye Bennett of Grantham, NC
Charles Robert Bennett of Grantham, NC
Mary Lou Bennett of the home
Albert Gene Bennett of the home.
His son, Jerry W. Bennett, of Grantham, preceeded him in death.
Services were held at Friendly Holiness Church, 
he was laid to rest in the Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro, NC
He leaves behind Five grandchildren.
