The Robesonian, Dec 1, 1952
   Ed Britt, 83, died last night in the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. B. Martin 
in Fayetteville following an illness of several weeks which began with a stroke.
   Funeral services will be held at 3:30 Tuesday afternoon from Stephens and 
Prevatte Funeral Home in Fairmont and burial will follow in the Jenkins 
cemetery.
   Surviving are Mrs. Martin, a son, Gilbert Britt of Lumberton, two brothers, 
Charlie and John Britt and a sister Mrs. Sanford Jenkins of the Barnesville 
area.
