 Pitt Co DB Q, page 82, deed date 4 Aug 1805, recorded Aug Ct 1805, 
Robert Williams and Nathan Williams, both of Pitt Co to William Carney, 
Norfolk Co, VA, for 250 pds, a tract of land on the north side of 
Grindal Creek beginning at a pine in William Wilkinson's corner William 
Bennet & Benjamin Whitfield's corners then with the said Wilkinson's 
line to Reuben Manning's line then with the said Manning's line to the 
new road then with the road to Benjamin Whitfield's line then with the 
said Whitfield's line to the first station, containing 150 acres, 
signed Robert Williams, Nathan Williams, wit Wm. Bowers, (F. Bryan), 
proved by Frederick Bryan.  Abstracted from NCA film C.079.40006, 3-21-

 Pitt Co Db R, page 399, deed date 7 Feb 1810, recorded Feb Ct 1810, 
George Eason, Pitt Co to William Carney, county aforesaid for $125, one 
Negro girl named Sabrina, about 17 years of age, signed G. Eason, wit 
(Edmund Recks), acknowledged in court by George Eason.  Abstracted from
