That is to say, principally and first of all, I recommend my soul into the hands of God that gave it and for my body, I recommend it unto the earth for to be properly buried in a Christian like and decent manner at the discreion of my Executors, nothing doubting but that at the General Resurrection I shall receive the same again, by the mighty power of God and as touching such worldly estate wherwith it hath pleased God to bless me in this life, I give, devise and dispose of in the following manner and form. I give to my well beloved wife Elizabeth I give and bequeath the half of my estate, after my true and honest debts are paid. Item. I give and bequeath to my son Richard the plantation whereon I now live, after his mother's decease. Item. I give and bequeath to my daughter Sarah the bed whereon she now lyes. Item.
