Dewey Bryant Carey died Friday, November 3.
He was 72.
Died at home in Hurdle Mills.
Native of Orange County and a retired farmer
Member of Walnut Grove United Methodist Church
Funeral held at Walnut Grove UMC by Rev. Clark Poole, Sunday, November 5th at 
2:00 pm
Burial in the church cemetery
Survivors:
Wife: Mrs. Sadie Dodson Carey
Two daughters: Mrs. Jaunita Griffin of Durham and Mrs. Marjorie Spruill of 
Glen Burnie, MD
One son: D.B. Carey Jr. of Hurdle Mills
Four sisters: Mrs. Ruth Gates of Efland, Mrs. Lois Tilley of Hurdle Mills, 
Mrs. Frances Burgess of Durham and Mrs. Ruby Pacheli of Hyattsville, MD
Five grandchildren
