Marion Lafayette Ballard, 92, died in Fuquay-Varina Branch Hospital, on 
Thursday.
Father of J.P. Ballard of Hillsborough
Other survivors include -
Sons: T.L. Ballard of Shallotte, E.W., W.H. and C.B. Ballard of Fuquay-Varina 
and A.H. Ballard of Oak Ridge, Tenn
Two daughters: Mrs. W.C. York of Fuquay-Varina and Mrs. John Allen Shaw of 
Charlotte
18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren
Funeral held Friday at Chalybeate Springs Baptist Church in Fuquay-Varina
