John Glenn, Grantor Soloman Wood, Grantee This Indenture made this third day of March the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred & fourteen Between John Glenn of the County of Orange & State of North Carolina of the one part & Soloman Wood of the said County & State of the other part. Witnessith that for and in Consideration of the Sum of One Hundred & Two pounds ten shillings in hand paid to the said John Glenn by the said Soloman Wood the Receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged & in consideration thereof he the said John Glenn hath given granted bargained & Sold & by these Presents doth give grant bargain & Sell unto the said Soloman Wood a certain piece or parcel of land Situate bying & being in the County of Orange on Ellibar Creek & bounded as follows; Beginning at a point post oak said Woods corner thence North fifty degrees East Twenty two & a half chns to a red Oak then Sounth forty six degrees to a Hicory Tyre Glenns corner then south thirteen degrees Sounth forty four in David Glenn's line then North forty four degrees West fifteen chains to a Stake said Woods corner on the side of the Great Road then with his line North ten degrees East Nineteen & one forth chains to the beginning.containing Eight eight acres & all the appurtenances thereto belonging or in any wise app
