Witness that for the consideration of one hundred and twenty five pounds received to our full consideration of him the said William ANDREW doth give grant bargain sell and confirm unto him the said William ANDREW part of a tract of land lying and being in the County of Orange on the North side of Cain Creek begining at a Hickory runing west two hundred and five perches to a white oak thence South One hundred and twenty six perches to a Hickory thence East along William ANDREW old line. One hundred and Sixty perches thence South fifty perches to a red oak thence East forty five perches to a red oak thence North one hundred and seventy six perches to the first station. Containing in the whole by computation One hundred and Eighty acres of Land be the same more or less as above described being part of a tract of land grant to James LINDLEY from the right John Earl of Granville bearing date the Eighteenth day of July in the year of our Lord One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty and also by deed from the said James LINDLEY to Robert ANDREW bearing date the 25th day of July 1766 and the said Robert ANDREW bequeathed the same to his sons the above David ANDREW and Thomas ANDREW and we the said David and Thomas ANDREW doth give grant bargain sell confirm and release unto him the said ANDREW forever as above described. To have and to hold the above granted and bargained premises together with all woods waters mines minerals and appurtenanies (?)there unto belonging or in any way pertaining to him the said William ANDREW his heirs and assigns forever to this own proper use and behalf and also we the said David & Thomas ANDREW do for ourselves our heirs Executors Adminstrators and assigns Covenant with the said William ANDREW his heirs and assigns that at and until the ensealing of these premises we are well seized of the above mentioned premises as a good and indefeasable Estate in fee simple and have good right to bargain sell the same in manner and form as above written and furthermore we the said David & Thomas ANDREW do by these presents against ourselves our heirs Executors Adminstrator and assign shall and will warrent and defend to the said William ANDREW his heirs and assigns forever in witness whereof we the said David & Thomas Andrew hath hereunto set our hands and affixed our Seals the day and year above written.
