This my last will and testament, that is to say:

After my decease, I give & bequeath unto my loving daughter Nancy:
One bed and furniture & one blue chest & if it should be please God to take me 
out of this world now, my will & desire is that my son Samuel should have one 
years schooling out of the note that I have now in hand and after my just 
debts is paid, my will and desire is that all my property that I have in note 
& accounts otherwise shall be equally divided between my two children Samuel & 
Nancy.  Also, I do nominate & appoint my loving friend Lott Ballard my 
Executor to execute this my last will & testament, given unto my hand & seal 
this 8th day of March 1808.

This will of Jeremiah Davis was proved in open court by Stephen Williams, as a 
subscribing witness and Lott Ballard executor therein named thereto ordered he
