ITEM after all my just debts and funeral expenses is paid, then it my will and desire that my wife Keziah Langley shall be supported out of the proceeds of my plantation whereon I now live during her natural life. ITEM it my will and desire that all of my personable property, that is to say, hogs, cattle, household and kitchen furniture, to be sold and equally divided between the heirs of my daughter Mary Aman and B. H. Bryan and Talith Bryan, my daughter; namely Lydia Aman, Dennis Aman, Hollan Henderson, and Stephen Aman, the heirs of Robert Aman & Mary Aman, to them and their heirs forever. ITEM I give and devise to my grand son J. W. Langley, Rachel Langley & Mary Langley, the son and daughters of Stephen Langley, the plantation where my son Stephen Langley last lived and died, containing by estimation two hundred acres, be the same more or less, with all priviledges, advantages thereunto belonging to them, their heirs and assigns forever. ITEM I give and devise to my son James Langley the plantation whereon I now live and all woodland and box land containing by estimation four hundred acres, with all the building, priviledges, advantages thereunto belonging to him, his heirs, administrators and assigns forever. Lastly, I nominate and appoint my son James Langley Executor to this my last will and testament. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 13th day of December 1848. Rhodes and Ivy A. Rhodes, the subscribing witnesses thereto and the same ordered to be recorded and filed as the last will and testament of John Langley, decd., and James Langley the Executor therein named appeared in open court and was duly qualified as such by taking the oath required by law.
