This is Robert Preston, the son of Lawrence deLafayette Morton and Thalia 
Alma Freshwater of Swansboro, NC. His nickname was "Bob". He worked as a 
painter for many years aboard Camp LeJeune Marine Base.  He also served during 
World War II.

This picture was taken, sometime during the 1960s, at his house which was 
located across Hwy 24 from the old Swansboro High School.  Neither his house, 
or the one shown behind him remain.

Additional Comments:
I knew him as "Uncle Bob", and his three young daughters were called 
the "Doodle Bugs".
