C.)-- March 9, 1860 STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA --NASH COUNTY-- COURT OF PLEAS and Quarter Sessions -- Feb. Term 1860 -- JAMES T. BARNES vs. DAVID JOYNER, MATILDA JOYNER and JOHN E. JOYNER -- Petition for partition of land. It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court that DAVID JOYNER, MATILDA JOYNER and JOHN E. JOYNER, defendants in this cause, are non-residents of thisw State; it is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made in the North Carolina Standard, a newspaper published at Raleigh, for six weeks successively, notifying the said defendants of the filing of this petition, and to appear at the next Term of this Court to be held for said county, at the Court House in Nashville, on the second Monday in May next, and answer the petition or the same will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to them.
