MITCHELL COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - Harold Stewart, 2 Mar 2005

SPRUCE PINE - Harold Stewart, of 17 Opal Street, died Wednesday, March 2,
2005. He was the son of the late Charles Bud and Edith Buchanan Stewart. He
was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.

Survivors include his wife, Clara Griffith Stewart of the home; Keith, Kent
and Todd Stewart all of Spruce Pine, and Allen Stewart of Moncks Corner, SC;
and seven grandchildren. 

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grindstaff Memorial
Chapel of Webb Funeral Home. Revs. Steve Sisk and Harry McCall officiated.
Burial was in Pete Young Cemetery. The family received friends from 1 p.m.
until the service hour Saturday at the funeral home.
