LOUETTA BANKS MOSLEY 

BAKERSVILLE - Louetta Banks Mosley, 80, of Old Hughes Gap Road, died Sunday, 
Feb. 9, 2008 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Julia Ball 
Banks, and wife of the late Frank Mosley. She was also preceded in death by 
four sisters; and four brothers.

Survivors include two daughters, Maxiedean Yelton of Bakersville, and Shelby 
Jean Riddle of Maiden; six sons, Bradley Mosley of Cowen, W.Va., David Mosley 
of Hartsville, S.C., and Charles Shorty Mosley, Samuel Bo Mosley, Larry 
Mosley, and Robert Mosley, all of Bakersville; 11 grandchildren; six great-
grandchildren; two step great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. 

Funeral services were held at 8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home in Bakersville. The Rev. Bud Edwards officiated. Burial was at 11 
a.m. Tuesday in Mosley Cemetery, above Big Rock Creek Baptist Church. The 
family received friends from 6 p.m. until the service hour Monday at the 
funeral home.
