Henline-Hughes Funeral Home 
Jimmy Ray Mckinney, Age 58, of 212 Barney Mckinney Road died Monday, March 3rd, 
2008 at his home. A Native of Yancey County he was the son of the late Landon 
Mckinney and Nola Jean Mckinney who survives. 

He was preceded in death by a Brother, David Mckinney.  He was a graduate of 
Harris High School and Attended Mayland Community College.  

He is survived by his wife, Mary Catherine Mckinney of the home; two Daughters, 
Christy Webb of Spruce Pine, Teresa Harris of Raleigh, NC and Son Jamie 
Mckinney of Spruce Pine; stepdaughter Sarah Ward of Spruce Pine; stepsons 
Jeremiah Gragg of Newland NC and Adam Gragg of Spruce Pine NC; two 
Grandchildren, Kaitlyn Mckinney and Casey Harris; three stepgrandchildren  
Natalie Ward, Caleb Ward and Mathew Ward; One sister, Sherry Vance of 
Burnsville NC and a brother; Doug McKinney of Spruce Pine NC.  

Funeral Services will be Thursday, at 1:00 pm, in the Chapel of Henline-Hughes 
Funeral Home officiated by Clayton McKinney and Kenny Hollifield, internment 
win be in the Burnett Cemetery in Little Switzerland following the service.  
The Family will receive friends Wednesday, from 7 until 9pm at the Funeral 
Home.  

Henline-Hughes is assisting the McKinney family.
