The Last Will and Testament of Alexander Little 1783

In the Name of God Amen.  I Alexander Little of the County of Lincoln and
state of North Carolina, being of sound and perfect mind, and memory (blessed
be God), do this thirteenth Day of September in the year of our Lord one
thousand seven hundred and eighty three make and publish this my last will and
testament in manner following vizt-

And first I will that all my just Debts be paid and Discharged and my body to
be Decently bureyed by my Executors herein after Named--.

Secondly I will and Demise to my Nephew John Little blest Son of my brother
James Little all my Land to be entered upon by him on his gardeen on the
payment of twenty-five pounds. Specia [?] as a Leagecey to Elezebeth Little
youngest daughter of my mother Jane Little--.

Thirdly I will and bequaith to my Loveing mother Jane Little one black cow
with a white face and ten Dollars specia--.  Fourthly I will and bequaith to
my brother James Little four head of young cattle a plow and tackling.

Fifthly I will and bequaith to John Little son of my brother Archibald Little
one black mare.  Sixtly I will and bequaith to my Nephew John Henrey one bay
mare with a blaye [?] face.

Seventhly I will and bequaith to Elesebeth Little youngest Daughter of my
mother one Derk bay mare and one black cow.

Seventhly I will and bequaith to Nephew Henrey Little second Son of my brother
James Little one spring colt.  And Lastly I Do make ordain constetute and
appoint my brothers Archibald Little and James Little Executors of this my
Last Will and Testament - in witness whereof I the said Alexander Little have
to this my Last Will and testament set my hand and Seal the Day and year above
written.

Signed Sealed published and Declared by the Said Alexr Little as his Last will
and testament in the preasence of us who were preasent at the time of Signing
and Sealing thereof.
