Lettice Cleghorn, of Rutherford Co. ...to James Scott, of Rutherford Co. ..where as William Cleghorn did in his lifetime sell to John Huddleston, fifty three acres, part of four hundred acres..Cleghorn then lived on ...in will of said William Cleghorn in Lincoln Co.. authorized his exr: Lettice to make title..said John Huddleston having sold land to James Scott..fifty three acres part of a grant to John McDowell, Nov 6 1764., and conveyed to Cleghorn..
