STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA   COURT OF EQUITY       DAVIDSON COUNTY
October  Term 1848

SMITH CURRY, Executor of JACOB LEONARD, deceased, and ELIZABETH CURRY, his wife

        Vs.

SUSANNAH LEONARD, widow of said JACOB LEONARD, JOHN LEONARD, DAVID LEONARD, 
GEORGE LEONARD, ABSALOM LEONARD, VALENTINE LEONARD, JESSE LEONARD, WILLIAM 
LEONARD, SUSANNAH LEONARD and CHRISTINA LEONARD 

Bill for the Construction of a Will

It appearing to the satisfaction of the Court  that the defendants, JOHN 
LEONARD, GEORGE LEONARD and ABSALOM LEONARD are not inhabitants of this State. 
It is therefore ordered by the Court that publication be made for six weeks  
in The Patriot, a newspaper printed in Greensborough,   for the said 
defendants to be and appear at our next Court to be held for the County of 
Davidson in the Court House at Lexington on the 1st Monday after the 4th 
Monday in March next, then and there to plead answer or demur to this issue, 
or judgment will be taken pro confesso and heard ex parte as to him.
  Witness, PETER K. ROUNSAVILLE, Clerk & Master of said Court at office in 
Lexington on  the 9th of October 1848.
