5 Jan. 1787 JOHN ELKINS, planter, to THOMAS GLASS, planter; whereas the sd. 
JOHN WILKINS by force and virtue of a certified deed from JACOB BARNES became 
lawfully possessed of 578 acres on Bear Creek of Rockey River deed executed 8 
Dec. 1762 for 100 pounds pd by Thomas Glass -- 289 acres being the upper part 
thereof. Wits: JOHN ELLIOTT; EBENEZER ELLIOTT. JOHN WILKINS.
