The Robesonian 1920
29 April 1920        

	Services were held at Galeed Church in Bladen County. At the end of 
the service Mr. George Lennon, Jr. was ordained as deacon in Galeed Church and 
Messers J.K. Baldwin and J. A. Singletary as deacons at Abbottsburg Church. 
The pastor was assisted by Rev. R.E. Powell, pastor of the church at 
Bladenboro and deacons as follows: Jeff Edwards of Bladenboro, J.T. Averitt 
and J. D. McKeithan of Abbottsburg, F.S. Averitt and D. A. Singletary of 
Galeed, George Lennon, Sr. of Crossroads Church and Dexter Page of Western 
Prong Church.
