William Gray To William Bedsole This indenture made the 2nd day of Jan AD 1793 between William Gray of Bladen County and State Of No. Carolina of the one and William Bedsole of the County and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that he the said William Gray for and in consideration of the sum of 5 pounds lawful monies of the said state to him in hand paid by the said William Bedsole before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof he doth hereby acknowledge and every part and parcel thereof doth fully freely and absolutely exonerate and acquit and forever discharge the said Wm Bedsole his heirs & Extrs & Adms and assigns by these presents doth give grant bargain sold alined ensheffed and by these presents doth confirm unto the said William Bedsole a tract or parcel of land lying in the county of Bladen and State aforesaid containing 30 acres Beginning at a stake between Turnbull & the pine pond & running S 22 chains and 37 links to a stake thence N 60 D 22 chains and 37 links to a stake thence N 85 E 22 chains and 37 links to a stake thence to first station together with all woods waters and described 30 acres of land with all the privileges & appurtanences thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to him the said William Bedsole his heirs and assigns forever and I William Gray do hereby warrant and defend the above bargained premises to him the said William Bedsole his heirs and assigns forever and hereby oblige myself my heirs Exctrs & Adms and assigns at the instance request costs and charges of the said William Bedsole his heirs and assigns to execute sign seal & deliver anysuch further deed as deeds for the better and more effectual conveyance of the aforesaid land and promises to the said William Bedsole as shall or may be reasonably advised or required by his or other council learned in the law or by the said William Bedsole his heirs or assigns Exctrs or adms .
