Fergus County Etta B Deyoe, 81, long time resident of Lewistown, died Sunday evening at St. Joseph’s Hospital after a long illness. She was born November 14, 1888, at Marysville, the daughter of Joseph T. and Alice Walton. She graduated from Fergus County High School in 1903 and Married Arthur Ridgeway in 1912. They homesteaded in the Everson community and resided there until moving to Lewistown in 1948. After her husband died she later married frank Deyoe. Mrs. Deyoe was a member of the First Methodist Church in Lewistown and of the Easter Star Chapter at Denton. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Erlandson, of Denton and Mrs. Hazel Wicks, of Lewistown; a son Duane Ridgeway, of Denton and nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, Fred Walton, and a sister, Mrs. Ethel Thayer. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2 p. m. from the Creel-Gurnett-Retz Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Arthur Heath officiating. Burial will be in the Hillcrest cemetery at Denton.
