Do make and publish this my last will and testament that is to say after the payment of my debts and funeral expenses and for a suitable grave stone at my final resting place. I give and bequeath to Mary Stephenson my oldest daughter and to my second daughter Elizabeth Hinkle and Ruth Vanmeter my third daughter and to Caroline Lewis and James R. Lewis my oldest son and Gilbert Lewis my third son and I give and bequeath an equal proportion except Mary Stephenson there must be one hundred dollars deducted for moneys she has received and from Elizabeth Hinkle there must be two hundred dollars deducted for moneys she has received and to Gilbert Lewis I give one hundred dollars more than an equal share in cash and owe bed and bedding apparel and the corn crop that he cultivated this year and the horses and harnys he claims, and to James R. Lewis I give an equal share with those that have no deduction and owe bed and bedding apparel belonging there to and I further give him the 'm'ill property by him paying three hundred dollars by installments one hundred dollars in one year one hundred in two years and one hundred in three without interest. I will and bequeath to my grand daughter Bertha Serta Lewis two hundred and fifty dollars to be kept in interest from the time the money of my estate is collected. And to be given to her when she arrives to the age of eighteen years and if she dies before she is eighteen years of age said moneys are to be equally divided between my heirs. I hereby empower my executor to sell my real estate at private sale to the best advantage for one third cash in hand one third in one year and one third in two years. I hereby appoint Rufus McMachin my sole executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness whereof I have written in my hand and seal at Andrew County in the State of Missouri.
