I certify that on the 25th day of December AD 1865, at Dayton in the county aforesaid, 
I, Edward J. Doyle joined in marriage John Sugdon of Tuscola in the State of Michigan, 
aged 25 yeasr, and Olive Jane Goodel of Tuscola in the State of Michigan, aged 21 years, 
that the parties did then and there solemnly declare that they took each other as Husband 
& wife, and that there were present as witnesses A. Curey of Burlington, Lapeer Co. and 
Matilda Goodel of Dayton, Tuscola Co.
Dated this 25th day of December AD 1865.

State of Michigan, were joined together in Holy Matrimony on the first day of January AD 1865 by me.
