John Burck Dies
  Monday at age 76

John A. Burck aged 76 years, of monroe, died Monday at the
home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank Kelly (sic) in Detroit where
he was making his home.  Mr. and Mrs Burck had for the past
three years lived with their daughter during the winter
months.  The Burck home here at the corner of East Third and
Wadsworth streets.  Mr. Burck followed the occupation of a
carpenter here for many years.

The body was brought to Monroe Monday afternoon and taken to
the Rupp funeral home.

Besides the widow Louise and the daughter, he leaves one
brother Christian Burck of Monroe and a sister, Miss Minnie
Burck of Toledo.  He was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.

Funeral services will be held at his late home at 237 East
Third street, Thursday at 2:30 p.m. with the Rev. Henry
Frincke pastor of Trinity Lutheran church officiating.

Note:  Kelley is mispelled in the article
