Cleah PARCELS, Aged 16, Died Today at Tipton

TIPTON, Mich., July 15. -- Miss Cleah PARCELS, 16-year-old daughter of Mr. and 
Mrs. William PARCELS, died at 11:30 this morning, after being in a critical 
condition since last Wednesday, when an operation was performed. Besides the 
parents, she is survived by twin sisters, Mrs.
Cecil WARD and Miss Celia, and two brothers Floyd and Lester, all of whom weer 
[sic] with her during her illness. The funeral arrangements have not yet been 
made.

Cleah PARSELS

Cleah Beatrice PARSELS was born in Dover township, Lenawee county, Michigan, 
April 29, 1903. When she was but two years of age, she with her parents moved 
to Franklin township where they have since resided.

July 4 Cleah was stricken with appendicitis, from which she was a patient 
sufferer until the end came Tuesday, July 15. Her fortitude and bravery 
throughout her sickness were remarkable.

In September she would have commenced her second year in the Tecumseh high 
school, where by her pleasing personality and kindly disposition she had made 
many friends.

Besides the heartbroken father and mother she leaves two sisters, Miss Celia 
and Mrs. Cecil WARD, two brothers, Floyd and Lester, besides many other 
relatives and close friends.

      Illumed the azure skies
She passed through glory's open gate
     And walked in paradise."
