Barbara E. Johnson

PALMYRA – Barbara E. Johnson, age 81 of Palmyra, died Sunday, Nov. 24, 2004, at 
Adrian Health Care Center.

She was born Sept. 21, 1921, in Bowling Green, Ohio, to Charles K. and Ethel M. 
(Oatway) Tawney.  Barbara Married Allen Johnson and he preceded her in death on 
June 21, 1996.  Barbara had been employed by Faraday.

Surviving Barbara are two sons, Cecil Curtis Harvey and his wife Barbara, of 
Palmyra, and Lonnie Harvey and his wife, Diane, of Gainsville, Fla.; a 
daughter, Ellen Jane Voss and her husband, Henry, of Tecumseh; nine 
grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.   Preceding her in death in addition 
to her husband, Allen, were 6 siblings, a son, Mark; a daughter, Dawn Green, 
and 2 grandchildren.

The funeral service for Barbara will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002 at 6 
p.m. at Anderson Funeral Home with Pastor Ian Crawshaw officiating.  Cremation 
will follow the service with private burial of cremains in Lenawee Hills 
Memorial Gardens in Tecumseh at a later date.   Visitation hours for Barbara 
will be on Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. at Anderson 
Funeral Home.

Additional Note: Barbara was born 21 Sep 1921 in Swanton, Lucas County, Ohio.  
Barbara Tawney was married two times before.  The first marriage was to Mr. 
Ball and there were no children, the second marriage to Cecil Curtis Harvey.  
Cecil Curtis Harvey was the father of all her 5 children. Barbara Johnson's 
cause of death: Stroke (hours), Cerebrovascular Disease (years)
