Robert Laverne Yost, age 64 of Barryton, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2005 
at his home.  He was born November 20, 1940 in Battle Creek to Leslie and Grace 
(Ritchfield) Yost.  Bob grew up in Cement City, Michigan and graduated from 
Paulding, Ohio.  He lived most of his adult life in Ionia moving to Barryton 
two years ago.  Bob married Janice “Jan” Bisson in 2003.  He always had a good 
sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.  Bob loved car racing and 
fishing.

Bob is survived by his wife Jan of Barryton; children Leslie Guelde, James 
Guelde, Shelly Rinchart, Tanya Yost and Tiffany Yost; step-children Heather 
Traxler, Wayne Traxler Jr., Gina Longoni, Anthony Traxler and Joshua Gooding; 
sister Dawn (Charles) Jenkins; 12 grandchildren and step-grandchildren and 
several nieces, nephews and dear friends.  In addition to his parents, Robert 
was preceded in death by wife Sandra (Peters) Yost in 2002; son Chad Yost; 
sister Kay Noneman and step-father Robert Ankney.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wed., Feb. 9, at the Daggett Funeral Home in 
Barryton with visitation two hours prior to the service form Noon to 2 p.m.  
Memorial services for Bob are 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sat., Feb. 12 at Shiloh 
Community Church in Orleans, with a luncheon to follow.  Memorial contributions 
in Bob’s name may be made to the Lung Cancer association or the Barryton 
Conservation Club.
