Gilbert J. Wohlfert, 68, of Hubbardston died at Carson City hospital Sunday of
an apparent heart attack.

He was a retired self employed machine shop operator and also a member of St.
John the Baptist Catholic church in Hubbardston.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Philips of New Mexico, Mrs. Mary
Ann Grant of Hubbardston and Mrs. Betty Criss of Lansing; son, Richard of route
1, Muir; 14 grandchildren; stepmother, Mrs. Frank Wohlfert; two brothers,
Leonard Wohlfert of Fowler and Harold of Lansing; five sisters, Mrs. Hilda
Musselman of Wisconsin, Mrs. Leona Goldberg of California, Mrs. Mildred Hauck of
Crystal, Mrs. Betty Roberts of Lansing and Mrs. Irene Harlow of Hubbardston.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. at St. John the Baptist church of
Hubbardston.  Interment will be at the church cemetery.

Rosary will be recited Monday and Tuesday at 8 p.m. at Estep funeral home north
of Muir.
