Ionia Sentinel Standard, 13 Aug 1983

Jennie C. Wendland, 82, of 1307 Knapp St S.E., Grand Rapids, a former Ionia
resident, died Friday.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Erich Wendland.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cecil (Eva) Wiseman of Ionia; a son, Fred Gaut,
of Indianapolis, Ind.; 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; three
sisters, Mrs. Cornelia DeDolder of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Minnie Bazan of Byron
Center, and Mrs. Gertrude Mol of Wyoming, and one brother, Fred Baker, of Sand
Lake.

Funeral services will be held at Reyers Funeral Home, 2815 Fuller N.E., Grand
Rapids, at 1 p.m. Monday.  Burial will be in Fair Plains Cemetery, Hubbardston.
