The Ionia Standard, Friday, April 23, 1897
W. T. Triphagen, for many years one of the prominent farmers of Danby, died at 
Port Arthur, Texas a few days ago.  Funeral was held at Compton church 
Tuesday, and burial in Danby cemetery.
