Portland Observer, 25 Feb 1932

The remains of Mrs. J.O. Smith arrived here from Detroit today and was placed to 
rest in Portland cemetery.  Mrs. Smith passed away in Detroit Tuesday, where she 
had resided for the past 12 years.  Before leaving this vicinity she resided west 
of Stone’s Corners in Sebewa.
