Dies of Creeping Paralysis

Sebewa Township Treasurer Loses His Wife

After an illness of four years of creeping paralysis, Mrs. Hugh Showerman, 48, 
died at her home two miles west of Sebewa Corners.  Her maiden name was Dulcie 
Wilson and she was born in Chester township, Eaton county.

Mrs. Showerman was a quiet woman looking well to the ways of her home until 
disease made its demands upon her.

Mr. Showerman, who survives, is treasurer of the township of Sebewa.  There are 
no children.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, at the home, and burial was in 
Sebewa township cemetery.  Rev. Thompson officiated at the funeral .  The 
bearers were Garret Smith, Harry Meyers, Carl Thrams and Gust Joisce, neighbors 
and acquaintances.
