She was born October 13, 1919 in Bloomer Township to Mervyn and Ona (Mercer) Locke. Margaret graduated from Carson City High School and went to County Normal to become a school teacher. On June 1, 1940 she married Erva Edwin Rinckey. Together they built and managed Hidden Valley Mobile Home Park in Ionia. Margaret, also known as Peg to many, moved to North Fort Myer, Florida in 1981 where she met and married Jack Sheets. She was a very talented individual who played music by ear. She played for dances at the Recreation Hall in the Park where she lived and also for the elderly in a convalescent home in the area. In January of 2003, Peg and Jack moved to the Ionia area to be near family. Margaret is survived by her second husband of 20 years, Jack Sheets of Ionia. She is also survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and 14 great- grandchildren. Son Robert (Mary) Rinckey; Joe Rinckey, Kay, Mary and Justin; Jessica and Brittany Rinckey, all of Biloxi, Mississippi. Daughter Nancy (Gary) Peterson of Crystal, Timothy Brandal of Marquette; Betsy (Tony) Martin and Mady Grace of Helena, Montana; Thomas (Stephanie) Brandal, Jacob and Lauren of Lutherville, Maryland; step-grandson, Dean Andrew Peterson of Greenville; daughter, JoAnn Biggs; Bill (Allison) Biggs, David and Aiden; JoEllyn (Matt) Julander, Hunter and Nicholas all of Denver, Colorado. Son Bill (Pam) Rinckey of Charlotte; Brad (Deb) Rinckey, Blake and Ben of Eagle River, Alaska; and Jared (Oz) Rinckey of Charlotte. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Mervyn and Ona Locke; her brother Robert Locke; her first husband, Erva Rinckey; and one grandson Robert Rinckey, Jr. Margaret, Peg, Mom and Grandma will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at the Congregational Church, 106 S.
