News of the Death of a Former Photographer of Lake Odessa
	
Miss Loia Goddard received a letter from Mrs. G.A. Shampang a few days ago, 
telling of Mr. Shampang’s death, November 16, of paralysis.  The family went to 
California to live about 20 years ago, and later to Saginaw, Ore., where he had 
an oil station.

Mr. Shampang had been in poor health for some time, but was able to attend to 
business.  He had opened the station that morning and stood outside talking to 
a man in a car when the stroke came.  He lived only about three hours.  The 
son, Murrey and family also live at Saginaw, and Mrs. Shampang’s mother, Mrs. 
Horace Rozell, is with her.

Mr. Shampang was an excellent photographer and many here still have some of his 
work.
