Ionia County News – Thursday, 10 January 1946

Matthias Schenden, former resident of Ionia, but who had lived in Greenville 
for many years, died last week at the home of his son, Dr. Schenden in 
Detroit.  Funeral service was held from the Greenville Catholic church and 
burial was in Miriam cemetery.  Mr. Schenden was the father of George 
Schenden, production superintendent of Ionia Desk Co.
