Donald L. Rowe, age 66, loving husband, father, and grandfather passed away on 
Monday, October 5, 2009.  He was born on March 25, 1943 in Belding the son of 
Walter and Elsie (Conrad) Rowe.  

Mr. Rowe graduated from Belding High School and Montcalm Community College. He 
worked for the Chrysler Lyons Trim Plant for several years before working for 
General Motors and retired from there after many years of service.  He loved 
fishing, wood working, and old cars. 

He is survived by his wife, Linda Rowe; children, Sherry Rowe of Ionia, Carl 
(Mirna) Rowe of Ionia, and Melinda (special friend Mike Carroll) Rowe of 
Lansing; 2 grandsons, Weslee Rowe and Lincoln Nunez; step sisters, Cathy, 
Sharon, and Ann.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marsha Rowe 
and an infant sister.  

The Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Kenneth Harger at 11 am 
Saturday, October 10, 2009 at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Homes, Ionia with 
interment following at Palo Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the 
funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. For those desiring, memorial 
contributions may be made to the Ionia Area Hospice in memory of Donald L. 
Rowe.
