She was born July 21, 1921 in Missouri, the daughter of Edward and Lillian (McMillen) Huston. She graduated form Lake Odessa High School in 1942 and attended Lansing Community College to earn her nursing degree. She was employed at Pennock Hospital in Hastings as an LPN for 18 years before retiring. She was a member of the Weavers Guild, Woodland Eagles, Spinners Guild and volunteered at the Clarksville Library and Barry community Hospice. She also tutored at Lakewood High School and was a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa. She is survived by daughter Nancy Rogers of Battle Creek; son Guy (Kathy) Rogers, of Clarksville; two grandchildren; and sister Marie Julius, of California. She was preceded in death by her half-brother, Edward Huston Jr. A memorial mass will be Saturday, December 9, 1995 at 10 a.m. at St. Edwards Catholic Church in Lake Odessa with Fr. Thomas Boufford officiating. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa. Arrangements have been made by Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa.
