William T. Riley, 72 of rural Hubbardston died Thursday at Wyntjes nursing home 
in Lowell.  He was in ill health two years.

He was born at Newaygo November 25, 1888, and was married to Margaret Egan, 
November 20, 1917 in Carson City.  They lived on the same farm west of 
Hubbardston all their married life, until her death in 1956.

Mr. Riley was a member of St. John The Baptist Catholic church at Hubbardston.

Survivors include four daughters, Mrs. Irene Vance of Ionia, Mrs. Catherine 
Miller of Lyons, Mrs. Julia Kohagen of Carson City, and Mrs. Wilma Miller of 
Westphalia; two sons, Thomas Riley of Ionia, and Leo Riley of Lansing; 30 
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Riley of 
Hubbardston.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John The Baptist church in 
Hubbardston with burial at the church cemetery.  Rosary will be recited at 
Burns funeral home in Carson City Friday evening at 8 o’clock.
