Mutrynowski, 82, of Ionia, passed away from complications of diabetes on Wednesday, February 22, 2006. He was born on May 15, 1923 in Hamtramck, the son of Joseph and Magdalene (Kurkierwicz) Mutrynowski. Mr. Mutrynowski moved with his family to Ionia in 1954, where he was a member of Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Parish, the Knights of Columbus Ionia Council #944, Ionia JC's, the Ionia City Council and the Ionia planning commission. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Art will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 57 years, Eva; daughters, Melanie Reynnells, Paula Mutrynowski (Robert Nepstad), and Celeste Mutrynowski; grandchildren, Benjamin Reynnells and Rebecca Reynnells. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by the Rev. Melvin Fox, Pastor at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Ionia. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Schrauben-Lehman Funeral Home, 220 Rich Street, Ionia. A Scriptural Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Friday. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Ss. Peter and Paul School, in memory of Mr. Mutrynowski.
